Bee Keeper Visit

We were thrilled to invite local beekeeper Sean Duffy to school to tell us all about keeping bees. Sean showed an empty hive to the children and explained all about the hive, the queen bee, the workers and the drones. The pupils asked lots of great questions and Sean then led us down Ballinapeak road to see his live hives, but not too close. Thanks so much to Sean for giving us his time and wealth of information.
