Christmas Play

The pupils in Ardeevin continue to be enthusiastic and dedicated every year to taking part in their Christmas play. This year they enjoyed their stardom even more as they got to perform with lights, sound and action in Glenamaddy Town Hall Theatre. A Christmas version of the well known Wizard of Oz saw some unusual characters take over the tale, this included elves, snowmen and even talking trees!

Junior and senior infants opened the show with some beautiful singing. From 1st class to 6th class continued the show to a full house and really showed off their talents.

Thank you to all the parents that supplied costumes, props, delicious treats and to everyone who helped with the teas and raffle on the night. Thank you also to Alan Hunt who generously recorded the whole thing and shared the link with everyone for us all to look back on our Oscar winners of the future.
