Cumann na mBunscol

Pupils have had a busy couple of weeks training after school to prepare for the Cumann na mBunscol. This is always a very enjoyable event where we meet other similar size schools and everyone in the older classes gets lots of game time. We join up with Lisheen N.S. and get to send two teams. The boys played in Abbeyknockmoy in wet conditions but did very well and will go forward to play again in Loughgeorge. The girls played in Glenamaddy and enjoyed a great day of gaelic football. As is the tradition, win lose or draw, the children always get a great reception when they get back after all of their efforts.
