Farewell Mr Carney

On Thursday last Mr Carney, our principal of 10 years, let us know that he will be taking up a new role in September . To say that we, the staff and pupils , will miss him is an understatment. We enjoyed a celebration day with him doing his favourite things - treats and football. Thank you to the Board of Management, our treasurer Patricia and Chairperson Raymond for covering costs. We made sure his 'graduation' song was one we all know well - Four Roads to Glenamaddy, and hope that he will visit us often on the country road that leads to the schoolhouse in the meadow, Ard Aoibhinn. We wish him every success and happiness in his future role.
